Bayern Munich have confirmed the return of Juventus winger Douglas Costa on a season-long loan deal.
Costa spent two years at Bayern until leaving for Juventus in 2017 but returns to the Bundesliga champions after dropping down the pecking order in Turin.
The Brazil international has struggled to stay fit for prolonged periods during his entire career and injury woes have cost him his place at Juventus.
Andrea Pirlo's side have shifted Costa in order to make room for Fiorentina ace Federico Chiesa, while Bayern have re-signed Costa to bolster their wide areas.

Costa made just seven starts in each of the last two Serie A campaigns and has only featured in 40 minutes of Juventus' first two league games this season.
The 30-year-old made 50 league appearances during his first stint at Bayern (2015-2017) and played a direct hand in 20 goals in that time (eight goals, 12 assists).
Moreover, in that period only Ousmane Dembele (one every 19.8 mins) averaged a dribble more frequently than Costa (every 22.6 mins) in the Bundelisga (10+ starts).
