Egyptian goal machine Marmoush the star in WhoScored's European Team of the Week
Omar Marmoush continued his stunning form to feature in the WhoScored European Team of the Week, and is one of two Eintracht Frankfurt players to make the cut. Stars from St. Pauli, Holstein Kiel, Mainz 05, Celta Vigo, Bournemouth, Auxerre, Bayern and Gladbach are also represented.
Nikola Vasilj (St. Pauli) – 8.47
Nikola Vasilj was the star performer as St. Pauli claimed an impressive 2-0 win at Hoffenheim over the weekend. Indeed, the goalkeeper made six saves, won one aerial duel and claimed one high ball in a clean-sheet attaining display.

Max Geschwill (Holstein Kiel) – 8.61
Holstein Kiel finally earned their first league win over the season, with Max Geschwill the Player of the Match in a 1-0 victory over Heidenheim. Geschwill registered the assist for Patrick Erras’ first half winner, that coming from one of two key passes, while three tackles, three interceptions and two clearances, including one off the line, saw the 23-year-old return a WhoScored rating of 8.61.
Mainz held Freiburg to a 0-0 draw on Sunday afternoon, with Stefan Bell solid at the back. The German won 12 aerial duels and made an additional 10 clearances, five interceptions and one tackle to join Geschwill at the back.
Marcos Alonso (Celta Vigo) – 7.93
Rounding off the defence is Celta Vigo’s Marcos Alonso, who earned a WhoScored rating of 7.93 in Monday’s 1-0 win over Getafe. Alonso stood firm at the back for Celta, making eight clearances, four tackles and one interception. The former Chelsea man also won seven aerial duels to make the cut.
Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth) – 9.17
The sole Premier League representative, Antoine Semenyo was excellent in Bournemouth’s 2-1 win over champions Manchester City on Saturday. Semenyo netted in the home victory, and gave the City backline the runaround having completed six dribbles on his way to a WhoScored rating of 9.17.
Gaetan Perrin (Auxerre) – 9.36
Gaetan Perrin scored his second and third league goals of the season in Auxerre’s resounding 4-0 win over Rennes on Sunday. The brace came from three shots, while three key passes, two successful dribbles and two tackles saw Perrin land a WhoScored rating of 9.36.
Mahmoud Dahoud (Eintracht Frankfurt) – 8.77
The first of two Eintracht Frankfurt representatives, Mahmoud Dahoud is good value for his inclusion with a WhoScored rating of 8.77. Dahoud was directly involved in two of Eintracht’s seven goals in their 7-2 win over table footers Bochum, netting with one of four shots and providing one assist from two key passes.
Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich) – 8.85
Kingsley Coman continued his fine Bundesliga form as he scored for his third league appearance running in Bayern’s 3-0 win over Union Berlin. The Frenchman netted with one of three shots and provided one assist from two key passes to make the European Team of the Week with a WhoScored rating of 8.85.

With a perfect WhoScored 10 rating, Omar Marmoush is the European Player of the Week. Marmoush bagged his 10th league goal of the campaign, hitting the back of the net with one of two shots, and he provided a brace of assists from three key passes. A further three successful dribbles capped a memorable performance from the Egypt international.
Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) – 9.19
Harry Kane was directly involved in all three goals in Bayern Munich’s 3-0 win over Bochum, netting with two of three shots and providing one assist from four key passes. Kane also managed a 93.3% pass success rate to help return a WhoScored rating of 9.19.
Tim Kleindienst (Gladbach) – 9.17
Rounding off the European Team of the Week is Gladbach star Tim Kleindienst. The 29-year-old provided a hat-trick of assists in Gladbach’s 4-1 win over Werder Bremen from three key passes to maintain his fine Bundesliga form.
