Manchester United team news: Pogba available for Sevilla match

Paul Pogba trained on Sunday less than 24 hours after missing Manchester United’s 2-0 win away to Huddersfield in the fifth round of the FA Cup, reports The Daily Mail.

The 25-year-old was due to start against Huddersfield but a illness ruled him out of contention on Saturday morning.

Pogba’s future at Old Trafford has been in doubt in recent weeks following a turbulent few matches for the France international, which has raised question marks about his relationship with Jose Mourinho.

A mystery illness on Saturday did nothing to quell rumours of potential unrest and Mourinho admitted he was not sure how long Pogba would be out for and also that he didn’t care.

However, it has now been revealed that Pogba reported to training with the rest of his United teammates on Sunday and will be part of the travelling squad for the midweek game in Spain.

Pogba is expected to start against Sevilla as United look to progress to the quarter finals of the Champions League for the first time in four years.

Despite coming in for criticism about his recent performances, only Kevin De Bruyne (14) and Leroy Sane (10) have provided more assists than Pogba (9) in the Premier League this season.
