Manchester City star would not join Manchester United

Sergio Aguero is not interested in swapping Manchester City for Manchester United, serving a decisive blow in Jose Mourinho's pursuit of the Premier League star, claims The Daily Mail.

Aguero has been heavily linked with a move away from City this season after falling below new arrival Gabriel Jesus in the pecking order and it remains to be seen whether he will still be at the club in August.

With Mourinho now on the market for two strikers in the wake of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's serious knee injury, reports had emerged suggesting the United boss was lining up a sensational summer move for the City star.

Aguero isn’t the only City player Mourinho reportedly has his eyes on, with Joe Hart another that could potentially make a cross-city switch to Old Trafford at the end of the season. However, United's pursuit of the England international entirely depends on whether David De Gea joins Real Madrid this summer.

However, unlike Hart, Aguero is not interested in entertaining the idea of joining United. The City No.10 does not want to tarnish his reputation at City after establishing himself as one of the club’s best ever players since arriving from Atletico Madrid in 2011.

In fact, since joining Aguero has scored at least 36 more goals than any other player in the Premier League (120).
