Valencia have confirmed they have signed Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala on a season-long loan deal.
Mangala, 25, joined City for a staggering £32m in August 2014 but the France international has struggled to live up to the price tag.
The former Porto defender had been linked with a return to Portugal but he has now sealed a switch to Valencia.
Of outfielders for City in the last three Premier League campaigns Mangala has committed at least two more errors that have directly led to a shot on goal than any other teammate (5).
