Queens Park Rangers have rejected a bid of £12m for Charlie Austin from Leicester City, according to reports.
Austin, 25, is reportedly a target for a number of Premier League clubs, with Leicester hoping to steal a march on their rivals, but QPR are alleged to be holding out for at least £15m.
Harry Kane was the only English player to score more goals (21) in the Premier League last season than Austin (18), but no other individual contributed more goals to their club's total output last term (43%).
Additionally, only Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero had more shots (148) than the England international (131) in England’s top-flight last season.
