Arsenal’s transfer of Gladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka is imminent, according to German news outlet Sport 1, via 101 Great Goals.
Xhaka, 23, has been extensively linked with a move to Arsenal this season and Arsene Wenger’s side appear to have finally got their man.
The Switzerland international still has three years left to run on his current deal at Gladbach but will leave the Bundesliga outfit this summer and complete a switch to England and play for Arsenal next season.
Xhaka is one of three players in Europe’s top five leagues to have been sent off three times this season. Not only that, but outfielder in the Bundesliga completes more long ball passes per game than the Gladbach midfielder (7.4).
