Manchester United target confirms talks with Juventus

Adrien Rabiot has confirmed he has held talks with Juventus about joining on a free transfer this summer.

The France international will be a free agent when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires at the end of the month.

Rabiot has been heavily linked with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs since the turn of the year, while there is now even talk he could yet renew with PSG.

Outgoing sporting director Antero Henrique was the reason behind Rabiot’s breakdown in relationship with PSG and his future at the club could yet be salvaged.

Nevertheless, Rabiot is free to discuss his future with other clubs and the midfielder has lavished praise on potential suitors Juventus.

“I’ve spoken with Juventus, it’s a great club where everyone would like to play,” Goal quote Rabiot as telling Corriere dello Sport.

“I like Italy so much, it’s wonderful here. A demanding season awaits me. At Juventus? Juve watched me and we talked about it, but I can’t say anything.

“Manchester United? It’s the same as last year, I have to decide. I’m on vacation for now. Soon you will know.”
