Swansea have announced they have sold Bafetimbi Gomis to Turkish giants Galatasaray for an undisclosed fee.
Gomis flourished on loan for Marseille last season but his contract with Swansea was due to expire this summer and Paul Clement deemed him surplus to requirements.
The 31-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Turkey and will now iron out personal terms with Galatasaray before a deal is completely concluded.
Gomis made a real impact upon his return to France last season and even reached 20 goals in a single-league campaign for the first time in his career.
Not only that, but only Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani (66) had more shots on target in Ligue 1 last season than Gomis (49).
