West Ham forward Lucas Perez is close to ending his Hammers hell by joining Spanish side Alaves in a deal worth £2m, claims The Sun.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side signed Perez from London rivals Arsenal in a £4m deal 12 months ago but the Spaniard has failed to make any impact at the club.
West Ham are stacked for options in attacking areas and Perez is right at the bottom of the pecking order for places.
The 30-year-old has endured a nightmare time in England since first leaving Deportivo la Coruna to join Arsenal in 2016.
Perez only made four starts and 11 substitute appearances for West Ham in the Premier League this season and is free to leave.
Despite the fact Alaves do not have a coach at the moment, the Spanish side are reportedly on the verge of prising Perez away from West Ham.
Perez scored three league goals for West Ham this season and those strikes earned Pellegrini’s side an additional three points.
