Tottenham ready to consider suitable offer for Man City target

Tottenham would be willing to accept an offer of around £120m, with a further £20m in add-ons, for Manchester City target Harry Kane, reports the Daily Star.

Kane has been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs this summer and returned late to pre-season training, which means he'll miss their season opener at City next week.

Spurs are keen to retain his services and have suggested that it would take a British transfer record bid to convince them to sell their star striker to the Etihad Stadium.

That would supposedly be an initial outlay of £120m, with another £20m dependant on City's domestic and continental success with Kane in the side.

The England captain finished the 2020/21 season with a better WhoScored rating (7.79) than any other Premier League player having scored more goals (23) and provided more assists (14) than any other player in England's top tier.

City recently spent big to secure the services of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa last week and they are eager to secure another frontman following the departure of Sergio Aguero.
