Inter face competition from Arsenal and Manchester United for Partey

Inter can expect stiff competition from Arsenal and Manchester United for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey this summer, claims Corriere dello Sport.

Partey's reputation has soared following a thoroughly impressive campaign for Atletico and the Spanish side are concerned he will be poached by their European rivals.

The Ghana international still has three years left to run on his current Atletico deal but a €50M (£43.6M) release clause leaves them extremely vulnerable.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is keen on the box-to-box midfielder but it has emerged Arsenal and United are also monitoring his future.

Partey was a standout performer across both legs of Atletico's last 32 Champions League triumph over holders Liverpool last month and would improve all three interested sides.

Atletico's plan is to renew Partey's contract and double his release clause, though talks have been slow and the summer transfer window is not far away.

Of players to have attempted at least 50 dribbles in LaLiga this season, Partey has the best completion rate in the division (86.5%).
