Paris Saint-Germain are set to test Everton’s resolve with a bid for Romelu Lukaku in January, according to The Daily Mirror.
Lukaku, 23, was heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park in the summer but remained at the club and it has now been suggested Ronald Koeman’s side will look to secure his long-term services with a fresh deal.
However, Everton’s plans could be blown out of the water should PSG firm up their interest with an official bid when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Belgium international has started the season in good form but is still expected to leave Goodison Park at the end of the season, although that could change should Unai Emery’s side firm up their interest.
Only Diego Costa (9) and Sergio Aguero (8) have scored more goals in the Premier League this season than Lukaku (7).
