Allardyce not interested in Wolves job

Sam Allardyce is not interested in returning to management until the New Year despite Wolves’ desire to speak to the former England manager, reports TalkSPORT.

The 62-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by England just 67 days into his tenure after The Daily Telegraph published an investigation into corruption, which involved Allardyce.

Wolves are currently on the search for a new manager after sacking Walter Zenga earlier this week and had earmarkaed Allardyce as a potential replacement and were looking to speak with the former Sunderland manager.

However, Allardyce is reportedly not interested in returning to management until 2017 where he will assess his options and the clubs that are looking for new managers.

In his last stint as club management Allardyce steered Sunderland clear of relegation despite only winning nine of 31 matches.
