Everton have rejected a staggering £57m bid from Chelsea for the transfer of Romelu Lukaku, according to The Daily Mirror.
Lukaku, 23, has been heavily linked with a return to Chelsea just two years after clinching a £28m deal to join Everton.
New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen to sign a new striker despite the arrival of Michy Batshuayi and they have seen a potential British transfer record bid for Lukaku rejected, with Everton holding out for £75m.
Since August 2012 only Sergio Aguero (79) has scored more goals in the Premier League than Lukaku (60).
