The agent of youngster Mahmoud Dahoud has insisted that the midfielder will remain at Gladbach this season and has denied reports that he could leave for just £8.5m next summer.
Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for the 20-year-old in recent weeks, while PSG are thought to have had a £34.2m bid rejected for the Gladbach star.
Dahoud, whose contract runs until 2018, is so far refusing to sign an extension as he wants guarantees that he can leave next summer.
However, the Syrian international won’t be leaving the Bundesliga side during the transfer window according to his agent Reza Fazeli.
“It is certain Mahmoud will stay with Gladbach for now,” Fazeli told the Guardian.
“There has been a lot of interest in him, not just from Liverpool. But we have an agreement with Gladbach and everything has been postponed for next season. We will have to wait and see what happens in the future but it will be up to the club to accept a fee they think is acceptable.”
