Manchester City are set to rekindle their interest in Real Madrid creative midfielder Isco, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Premier League outfit missed out on signing Isco when he opted to join Madrid from Malaga in 2013, but Manuel Pellegrini is hopeful of using his close connections to the player to lure him to the Etihad.
Isco, 23, will struggle to nail down a regular starting berth when everyone is fit at the club and was a figure of frustration when he was shown a straight red card in their 4-0 defeat to Barcelona less than 30 minutes after coming on in the second half.
The Spain international is reportedly open to leaving the Bernabéu with City now frontrunners for his signature.
Only Marcelo (2) is averaging more dribbles per game than Isco (1.7) for Real Madrid in the league this season.
