Juventus have confirmed Massimiliano Allegri will stand down as manager at the end of the season.
Allegri has spent the last five years at Juventus and still had another season to run on his current deal, which he expected to honour.
Juventus have won the league in each of those seasons but Allegri has failed in his objective of winning the Champions League.
Allegri did manage to guide Juventus into two Champions League finals but the Old Lady lost on both occasions, against Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively.

Juventus broke the bank to sign Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer in a bid to finally win the Champions League but they crashed out in the quarter-finals to Ajax.
Juventus also failed to win the Coppa Italia for the first time under Allegri this season and the Serie A outfit have confirmed the 51-year-old will leave this summer.
“Massimiliano Allegri will not be on the Juventus bench for the 2019/20 season,” a statement read on the club’s official website.
Allegri has impressively won 75.5% of his 188 matches in charge of Juventus, winning 11 major honours across five seasons.
