Middlesbrough are in the market to sign Arsenal defender Calum Chambers on a season-long loan deal, according to The Daily Mirror.
Chambers, 21, has lost his way at Arsenal since joining from Southampton two years ago.
The England international has since been overtaken in the pecking order by summer signing Rob Holding and with Shkodran Mustafi set to arrive the writing is on the wall for Chambers at Arsenal.
Middlesbrough and Hull are in the chase to sign the versatile defender on loan, with Arsene Wenger willing to let him get first team experience elsewhere this season.
Chambers is Arsenal’s highest rated player in the Premier League this season (7.63).
