Barcelona drop asking price for Manchester United and Arsenal target
Barcelona are prepared to drop their asking price for Manchester United and Arsenal target Samuel Umtiti, reports Sport.
The Frenchman is expected to leave the LaLiga champions this summer, with injuries hindering his game time at Camp Nou.
Umtiti has a host of admirers in the Premier League, with United and Arsenal both courting the 2018 World Cup winner.
And the duo will be boosted by reports that Barcelona are willing to lower their asking price for Umtiti, who they now value at £26m.
Umtiti has managed just nine league starts for Barcelona this season and finds himself behind Gerard Pique and compatriot Clement Lenglet in the pecking order.
However, both United and Arsenal are looking to bring in a new centre-back this summer and both would jump at the chance to secure Umtiti's services, despite a lack of game time and his regular injury issues.
Umtiti, 26, has a pass success rate of 92.6%, that second only to Toni Kroos (93.6%) of those to make 10 or more appearances in LaLiga this term.
