Real Madrid are set to hand Gareth Bale a new seven-year deal when he returns from the European Championship with Wales, according to The Daily Mail.
Bale, 26, still has three years left to run on the deal he penned when he was made the most expensive player in the world in 2013 and he is expected to become the figurehead of the team in the coming years.
However, Madrid are keen to reward the Welshman for his fine form since he arrived and also put to bed any speculation linking the former Tottenham forward with a return to the Premier League this summer.
Bale is currently the highest rated player at Euro 2016 (8.46) and has had more shots on target (12) than 16 of the 24 teams at the tournament.
