Leicester ace Riyad Mahrez will continue to give everything to the club in a bid to secure a move away from the King Power Stadium in January, reports The Daily Mail.
Mahrez announced his intentions to leave Leicester at the end of last season but was priced out of a move by the Foxes’ £50m valuation for Premier League clubs.
Roma were willing to make the Algeria international the most expensive player in the club’s history but could not agree a fee with Leicester, while the 26-year-old was left in limbo on deadline day.
The former PFA Player of the Year knows that only his best form will attract interest from Europe’s biggest clubs and will continue to try his hardest for Craig Shakespeare’s side as a result.
However, Mahrez has no intentions of seeing out the remainder of the season at Leicester and hopes a good start to the season will secure a January exit.
Mahrez has provided two assists in Leicester’s first three league games of the season, which is just one less than he managed in the whole of last season.
