Mancini not interested in PSG job

Former Inter manager Roberto Mancini has ruled himself out of the running to replace Unai Emery as Paris Saint-Germain’s next manager.

Emery, 45, is under immense pressure as PSG boss after making an underwhelming start to life as Laurent Blanc’s successor and their mixed league form has prompted suggestions he could be replaced during the winter break.

Louis van Gaal, Clarence Seedorf and Fabio Capello are all managers that have been linked with the PSG post in recent days and Mancini, who has been out of work since being sacked as Inter coach in August, is the latest high profile manager to be considered.

However, PSG will have to look at alternatives if they are to replace Emery after Mancini dismissed the idea of taking over the Ligue 1 champions.

“A trip to Paris? This is not in my programme,” Mancini told Gazzetta dello Sport, via L’Equipe.
