Juventus have identified Manchester United forward Anthony Martial as a top transfer target, reports Premium Sport.
Martial has endured a turbulent time at United since Jose Mourinho was appointed manager in 2016 and been reduced to play a bit-part once again this season.
Alexis Sanchez’s arrival in January has only raised further questions about Martial’s long-term future at Old Trafford and now Juventus are ready to pounce.
The 22-year-old’s current United deal is due to expire at the end of next season, but Mourinho’s side have an option to extend that by a further 12 months.
Martial’s representatives, Doyen Sports, have reportedly even had meetings with Juventus representative Pavel Nedved to discuss a potential summer switch.
United paid an initial £36m to sign Martial in 2015 and Juventus have reportedly been told that a fee of around £57m would be enough to prise the France international away from the club.
Martial has scored or assisted more goals as a substitute (6) than any other Premier League player this season.
