Juventus given boost in pursuit of Bayern midfielder

 

Bayern Munich have told Mario Gotze he can leave in the summer amid speculation linking him with a move to Juventus, according to Tuttosport, via Football Italia.

 

Gotze, 23, has endured a frustrating spell at club level since scoring the winner in the 2014 World Cup final and has been regularly linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena since the start of the season.

 

Juventus and Liverpool have previously been linked with a move for the Germany international and both are likely to rekindle their interest in the versatile midfielder if he becomes available in the summer.

Form and fitness and has seen Gotze start just four league matches this season, although he is still averaging a goal or an assist every 104.3 minutes of league action.
