Leicester City have joined the race to sign highly rated Santos striker Gabriel Barbosa, reports the Sun.
The player, often referred to as Gabigol, has attracted interest from a host of teams across the continent on the back of his stunning league form.
Barcelona are believed to have submitted a £17m for the Brazilian, while Serie A giants Juventus and Inter are also keen on the 19-year-old.
Leicester have since registered an interest in Gabigol and are prepared to test Santos’ resolve to retain the teenager with a £25m bid, though the Brasileirao side are holding out for £30m.
A host of Premier League sides are also thought to be in the running to sign the striker, but Leicester will hope to convince Gabigol, who has scored five league goals this season, that his future lies at the King Power Stadium.
