Swansea are interested in making Ryan Giggs their next manager as pressure mounts on Francesco Guidolin, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Guidolin, 60, was handed a two-year deal at the end of last season and securing their top-flight status but it hasn’t been plane sailing since then for the Italian.
The 60-year-old reportedly missed morning training sessions during their pre-season tour of the US to watch the Tour de France on television, which paints a relatively bad image of the Swansea manager.
Swansea are without a win in the league since the opening day of the season having lost three of their four matches since then leaving just a point above the bottom three.
As a result, the Welsh outfit are reportedly eyeing up a swoop for Giggs, who has been out of work since leaving his post at Manchester United in the summer.
Since taking over as Swansea boss in January 2016 Guidolin has won 35% of his 20 matches in charge (seven wins).
