Spurs line up audacious move for Juventus striker

Tottenham are weighing up a summer move for Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic, according to Calciomercato, via The Sun.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently second, two points off the top and look set to finish in the top-four for the first time in four years.

The Tottenham manager, who has worked with a restricted budget in his first two years at the club, has reportedly been given assurances by chairman Daniel Levy that there will be money to spend to enable the Lilywhites to compete on all fronts next season.

The north London outfit failed in their attempts to sign a striker in January to help ease the burden on Harry Kane and Pochettino will reportedly look to make an audacious swoop for Juventus striker Mandzukic.

Despite only arriving from Bayern Munich at the start of the season, Juventus will reportedly listen to offers in the region of £20m in the summer.

The Croatia international has scored six league goals in 17 appearances this season, which is only better by Paulo Dybala (13) in the league for Juventus thus far.
