Chelsea and Tottenham to rival Manchester United for Lazio star

Manchester United are interested in signing Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, but they face competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea and Tottenham, reports Caught Offside. 

Both United and Chelsea have been credited with a long standing interest in Milinkovic-Savic, who has four goals and four assists for title chasing Lazio in Serie A this season. 

Lazio have previously valued Milinkovic-Savic at around €100m, though that figure could drop in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. 

The Premier League trio are all looking to bring in a new midfielder this summer, with United expected to cash in on Paul Pogba this summer. 

Chelsea, meanwhile, having been courting a number of central midfielders as Blues boss Frank Lampard seeking to revamp his squad in the off-season, while Spurs are pondering the sale of Tanguy Ndombele, which would free up funds for a move for Milinkovic-Savic. 

That said, Lazio would also need to fend off interest from Serie A pair Juventus and Inter for the 25-year-old, who has garnered a respectable WhoScored rating of 7.33 in Italy's top tier this term.
