Fenerbahce want to sign Chelsea outcast Oscar on loan for the remainder of the season when the January transfer window opens, reports Turkish outlet Sporx.
The Turkish giants want to bolster their creative options in midfield in the winter transfer market and have earmarked Oscar as a potential transfer target.
With two-and-a-half years remaining on his existing deal, Fenerbahce would not be able to afford Oscar on a permanent basis but are hopeful of taking advantage of his lack of playing time with an audacious January loan swoop.
It remains to be seen whether Antonio Conte deems the 25-year-old surplus to requirements at Chelsea or whether Oscar would even be open to leaving one of Europe’s top leagues to join Dick Advocaat’s side in January.
Fenerbahce are also thought to have earmarked Isco as an alternative target although the Spain international is poised to sign a contract renewal with Real Madrid and that deal would seem even more unlikely than a move for Oscar.
The Brazil international has dropped down the pecking order at Chelsea this season and has been limited to just nine appearances in the Premier League this season although he hasn’t started a league game since Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat at home to Liverpool midway through September.
