Paris Saint-Germain’s new sporting director Antero Henrique wants to sign Borussia Dortmund left-back Raphael Guerreiro, reports Le Parisien.
Henrique reportedly approached Guerreiro’s entourage last week about a potential move as PSG look to strengthen their options in that area of the pitch in the wake of Maxwell’s departure.
The Portugal international is currently looking to help his country follow up their Euro 2016 success at the Confederations Cup, although an ankle injury may keep him sidelined for the rest of the tournament.
Guerreiro only left France to join Dortmund last summer in a bargain deal worth €12m but his value would only have risen since then after impressing for the Bundesliga giants and for Portugal.
The versatile defender only started 17 Bundesliga matches last season but chipped in with six goals and three assists. In fact, only Marcos Reus (7) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (31) scored more times for Dortmund in the Bundesliga last season.
