Chelsea are prepared to rival Manchester United in the race to sign Crystal Palace star Michael Olise, reports Football.London.
Olise was heavily linked with a move away from the Eagles last summer, with both Chelsea and Manchester City prepared to trigger the youngster's £35m release clause.
The 22-year-old instead put pen to paper on a new deal at Selhurst Park and while that kept a release clause in his contract that can be activated at the end of the season, it's expected to have risen considerably.
That hasn't deterred interested parties, with Olise shining during his time on the pitch for Roy Hodgson's side.
Injuries have limited to Olise to just nine appearances, seven of which have been from the outset, but he has returned an impressive WhoScored rating of 7.60 in the Premier League this season.
However, Olise would supposedly favour a move to United over a return to Chelsea, where he was on the books as a youngster.
United are expected to be active in the summer market as they seek a squad overhaul following Sir Jim Ratcliffe's investment in the club.
