Suso will be rewarded with a new five-year deal with AC Milan taking him through to June 2022, reports Calcionews24, via Football Italia.
The 23-year-old, who has two years remaining on his existing deal, has been in sublime form over the last 12 months and Milan are keen to put an end to questions about his long term future at the club.
Suso was heavily linked with a summer move away after Milan invested more than £200m into their squad but the former Liverpool attacker resisted any temptation to leave.
The Milan No.8 is currently away with the Spanish national team after being called up by Julen Lopetegui, who gave Suso his debuts at underage level, as a reward for his fine start to the season.
Reports now indicate Suso could even sign his new contract before Milan are due to face Lazio this weekend.
No one has played a direct hand in more Serie A goals this season than Suso (4), while he is also the third highest rated player in the division through two matches (8.62).
