Manchester United are the frontrunners to land highly rated Swansea defender Joe Rodon this summer, claims The Sun.
Rodon has emerged as one of the most sought after Championship prospects in the last six months, with Manchester City reportedly also interested.
Both Manchester clubs will be in the market for new defenders this summer and could even lock horns for the Swansea ace.
City need to bolster their defensive ranks following their woes at the back this season, while United are expected to move on both Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed Daniel James from Swansea last summer and now looks set to return to the Welsh outfit for another youngster.
The 22-year-old, who is valued at £20M, has spent his entire career at boyhood club Swansea and has been a first-team regular for the last two campaigns.
Rodon has started 43 league games since the beginning of last season and Swansea have a better defensive record (1.09 goals conceded per game) in those matches compared to when he has not featured from the off (1.5 goals conceded per game).
