Manchester United are set to let Juan Mata leave in the summer and replace him with long standing target and Chelsea star Willian, reports the Sun.
Mata is expected to depart United once the transfer window opens, with a return to Spain on the cards for the attacking star.
And United are planning another raid on Chelsea in their bid to replace Mata as they look to revive their interest in Willian.
The Brazilian was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer, but a transfer failed to materialise.
However, United are confident a deal can be done this time around as Chelsea look to sell before the value deteriorates.
At 29, Willian still has one big money move left in him and Chelsea will hope to recoup the £30m spent to secure his services from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Willian has been in great form for the Blues this term, with his six assists the joint-best of all Chelsea players in the Premier League this season.
