Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc is adamant Jadon Sancho will not be sold in the summer and will still be at the club next season.
The Bundesliga side signed Sancho from Manchester City for just £8m in the summer of 2017 and the teenage winger has been a revelation for the club.
Sancho has naturally been linked with big money moves back to the Premier League but Zorc insists the 18-year-old remains a huge part of their future.
“Jadon knew it would be an unusual step to move here but it has been totally the right one,” he told ESPN. “He’s an outstanding talent and a big part of our future.
“We are convinced that we are the best option for him to keep developing. He’s not finished yet. Not by a long stretch. And he will certainly play with us next year, come what may.”
Sancho’s performances have been so impressive that he has even broken into Gareth Southgate’s England squad this season, making his senior debut for the Three Lions against Croatia in October.
His displays for Dortmund this season even convinced Lucien Favre’s side to cash in on Christian Pulisic at the start of this month.
The United States international has signed for Chelsea in a staggering £58m deal but won’t move to Stamford Bridge until the summer.
Sancho, who has been touted as a future £100m-plus player, has scored six goals and provided seven assists in 17 league appearances for Dortmund this season.
In fact, Sancho has played a direct hand in more goals than any other teenager in Europe's top five leagues this season (13).
