Everton are yet to receive an official offer from Chelsea for star striker Romelu Lukaku, reports the Sunday Telegraph.
The Belgium international has been strongly linked with a return to Stamford Bridge this summer for a British record £75m.
Chelsea had supposedly been hoping to negotiate that fee down or offer players in exchange to sweeten the deal.
However, any rumours of a bid being lodged are untrue, with the club insisting they will decide Lukaku’s future, not the player himself.
The Belgian netted a respectable 18 league goals last season, while Everton’s disappointing finish to the campaign saw Lukaku believe his future lay elsewhere.
