Valencia will be without summer signing Ezequiel Garay for up to three weeks after the centre-back suffered a hamstring strain in training on Friday, according to Cope Valencia, via AS.
Garay joined Los Che from Zenit St. Petersburg in the summer and the Argentina international netted on his debut against Real Betis.
Valencia, who have made their worst start to season in 17 years, will now be without their main defender for the rest of the month leaving Eliaquim Mangala and Aderlan Santos as their only fit centre backs.
Only Espanyol and Granada (both 9) have conceded more goals in La Liga this season than Valencia (8).
