Norwich eye Serie A goal machine

Norwich City are plotting an audacious €10m (£7.3m) move for Sampdoria striker Eder, according to Sky Italia.

The Canaries have slipped into the bottom three in the Premier League having failed to win any of their last four league matches and are unlikely to survive unless they bolster their mediocre frontline.

Cameron Jerome and Lewis Grabban have only scored three goals between them in the league this season and wouldn’t appear up to the standard needed to ensure Norwich's league status.

In fact, Eder has scored seven more goals than those two combined, and only Gonzalo Higuain (14) has netted more times than the Sampdoria frontman in Serie A this season (10).
