Spurs star rubbishes exit claims

Tottenham goalkeeper Huge Lloris has rejected suggestions he could leave White Heart Lane to return to Lyon in the summer.

Lloris, 29, spent four years at Lyon before making being signed by Spurs in 2012 and has been regularly linked with a move away in recent years.

Real Madrid and Manchester United have been among those interested in the France international but reports emerged over the weekend suggesting he was interested in returning to Lyon in the summer.

However, Lloris has moved quickly to refute those claims, insisting he is still happy at Tottenham.

“I really like Lyon but there’s not a question about it. I’m very happy with Tottenham,” Lloris is quoted as saying by the London Evening Standard.

“We have very important games to play until the end of the season, so we’re focused on that.”
