Inter have entered the race to sign Spurs’ club-record signing Erik Lamela, according to the London Evening Standard.
Lamela, 23, joined Spurs for £30m from Roma in 2013, but has struggled to settle in the Premier League, scoring just two Premier League goals in 45 appearances.
Roberto Mancini is believed to be an admirer of the Argentina international, but any deal is only likely to happen if Inter fail to land either Ivan Perisic or Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Given the money Inter have already spent this summer, a loan deal for Lamela would seem more realistic this summer.
