Liverpool are close to confirming goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal, according to Sky Sports.
Mignolet, 27, still has three years left to run on his current deal at Anfield but has come in for criticism of late, with a number of goalkeepers being linked with a move to the Merseyside club.
Jurgen Klopp has repeatedly insisted Mignolet remains his No.1 man between the sticks and Liverpool are set to reward the Belgian shot-stopper with a new long-term deal to quash speculation.
Only Joe Hart (35) has kept more clean sheets in the last three campaigns than Mignolet (30).
