Crystal Palace reject Bayern Munich's loan bid for Zaha

Crystal Palace have turned down Bayern Munich's loan offer for star man Wilfried Zaha, claims The Guardian.

Zaha is desperate to secure a move to one of Europe's biggest clubs and has even changed agent in order to facilitate a transfer away from Palace.

Chelsea are considered the frontrunners for Zaha's signature from the Premier League due to owner Roman Abramovich's close relationship with the player's new agent, Pini Zahavi.

Tottenham are also being encouraged to rekindle their interest in the Ivory Coast international but it has now emerged Bayern have made their move.

The Bundesliga champions held talks with Zaha's agent earlier this week and tabled a six-month loan offer with an option to buy in the summer.

Palace understandably turned down Bayern's bid immediately but the Bavarians could return in the summer if they miss out on Manchester City ace Leroy Sane.

Only Wolves ace Adama Traore (111) has completed more dribbles than Zaha (107) in the Premier League this season.
