Inter have rejected Chelsea’s €18m (£16.1m) bid for Antonio Candreva and want at least €25m (£22.3m), reports Premium Sport, via Football Italia.
Candreva has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the past and now Antonio Conte wants to reunite with the 30-year-old having previously managed him for the Italy national team.
The Chelsea manager is demanding more signings as the Blues look to defend their Premier League crown and also compete in the Champions League this season.
However, Chelsea will be forced to increase their offer to have any chance to signing the experienced Italian, as Inter have already shown Manchester United this summer that they will not be bullied around in the transfer market.
In the last three Serie A campaigns, Candreva has attempted at least 154 more crosses than any other player (887).
