Icardi jets into London for talks with Premier League giants

Inter captain Mauro Icardi is set to hold talks with Arsenal in London this week regarding a big money move this summer, reports Sky Sports Italia, via Football Italia.

Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for the Argentine striker and Arsene Wenger has stepped up his interest with Inter reportedly looking to cash-in on their star asset this summer.

Inter are reportedly demanding in excess of €50m (£41.6m) for their No.9, who still has three years left to run on his existing deal. Atletico Madrid have also expressed an interest but it would seem Arsenal are the frontrunners for his signature.

Of the 68 players to score at least five goals in Serie A last season Icardi boasted the best conversion rate (28.1%).
