West Ham target Jack Wilshere looks set to leave Arsenal after being told by Unai Emery that he has no future at the Emirates, reports the Sunday Mirror.
Wilshere had been tipped to stay in north London and is desperate to sign a new deal with the Gunners, with his current contract expiring this month.
However, Emery has made it clear that the 26-year-old would be forced to contend with a bit-part role, which has made Wilshere consider his future with Arsenal.
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is a huge admirer of the midfielder and could offer him a way out of Arsenal with the promise of regular game time.
The Hammers have been heavily linked with a move for Wilshere and will be boosted by the news he won’t be a first team regular under Emery, which is likely to lead to his Emirates exit.
West Ham won’t find it easy to convince Wilshere to move to east London, however, with Wolves, Everton, Sampdoria, AC Milan and Juventus all supposedly keen on the England international.
Emery has made in keen he is hoping to keep Wilshere in north London, but a lack of regular game time means the player may look to leave this summer.
