Solskjaer makes desperate plea to Lukaku for one more year at Manchester United
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has plead with Romelu Lukaku to stay and fight for his place at Manchester United for one more year, claims The Sun.
Lukaku has been heavily linked with a move to Serie A giants Inter after dropping down the pecking order under Solskjaer in the last six months.
New Inter manager Antonio Conte has earmarked Lukaku as a top transfer target this summer after missing out on his signature during his time as Chelsea boss in 2016.
Inter have already had two offers knocked back by United and are struggling to raise funds to match Lukaku’s £75m valuation.
Selling Lukaku is not a priority for United this summer and Solskjaer has asked the striker to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford.
Lukaku has scored at least nine more Premier League goals than any other United player since joining the club two years ago (28).
