Juventus are yet to receive a response for their offer from Adrien Rabiot but are confident of signing the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder this summer, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.
Rabiot’s existing PSG deal is due to expire at the end of this month and the France international will not renew with the Ligue 1 champions.
PSG banished the 24-year-old from first-team training in December after failing to agree a new deal and he has been heavily linked with a move to a number of European clubs ever since.
The likes of Tottenham, Barcelona and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the France international but Juventus are in pole position for his signature.
Juventus have a long history of signing elite names on free transfers and have already confirmed Aaron Ramsey’s arrival from Arsenal on a Bosman transfer this summer.
Rabiot’s potential arrival will have no bearing on Juventus’ pursuit to re-sign Paul Pogba from United, which would complete a stunning midfield overhaul at the club this summer.
Rabiot was in great form for PSG prior to being pushed to the fringes, scoring twice in 14 league appearances and garnering an impressive WhoScored rating of 7.31.
