Tottenham vs Liverpool: Winks returns to starting XI for hosts

Harry Winks has returned to the Tottenham starting XI, with the young midfielder making his first Premier League start since the 4-1 loss at Manchester City last December.

The England international has been dogged by ongoing ankle issues, which has seen him make just three substitute appearances, totalling six minutes of league action, this season.

However, with Dele Alli sidelined, Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino has elected to start Winks in midfield alongside Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele in a 4-3-3 setup.

Elsewhere for the home side, Hugo Lloris is out with a thigh injury, with Michel Vorm starting between the sticks for the second successive league match, while Son Heung-Min, who hasn't been available for selection since the opening weekend 2-1 win at Newcastle, makes the bench.

For Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has made a sole change to the side that started the 2-1 win over Leicester before the international break, with Naby Keita coming in for Jordan Henderson in midfield.
