Liverpool have entered the race to sign Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi, according to The Daily Mirror.
Batshuayi, 22, is one of the most sought after strikers on the continent following his goalscoring exploits for a dismal Marseille side this season, with Tottenham among those regularly linked with a move away.
The Belgium international’s performances in front of goal have forced his way into Jurgen Klopp’s thoughts, who is widely expected to sign a new striker for Liverpool in the summer.
Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic (45) has played a direct hand in more league goals than Batshuayi (24) in Ligue 1 this season.
